Are you looking to add an all weather fire feature for your private residential or commercial display project? We do a lot of team building and coordination around fire features.

Done right, all fire features must meet or beat NFPA and CSA standards and regulations, and pass municipal installation inspections. Beyond that, the mechanical components need to be properly labeled to be in conformance prior to purchase and burner and ignition systems must be previously tested and labeled as one completed assembly. Meaning, you should not mix & match components. Taking one approved burner and pairing it with an approved ignition system is not necessarily going to pass. Inspectors generally want to see that the entire system was designed to be sold as a complete unit, tested and labeled properly.

Installers need be licensed and insured and as an owner, you really want to make sure that whoever is installing the natural gas and electrical components also has his or her eye out for the big picture. For starters, who will be operating the unit? Will they be trained in how to operate the feature safely? Is there fire suppression equipment planned for and close at hand?
There really is no better gathering place in the back yard, or more dynamic way to attract people to your business than to add flame! Of course you have to prioritize safety and that starts with reaching out to experienced professionals to get your features planned for and done correctly.
Feel free to contact us to learn more or to arrange a consultation to discuss your proposed fire bowl, fire table or dynamic feature before an audience even. We are always interested in working with people who prioritize safety in the design!
