We here at Costo Construction are always thinking about and implementing fire and CO2 safety plans into our projects. Both commercial and residential.
We’ve recently switched to supplying and installing these combination smoke and CO2 detectors with 10year sealed batteries. Once the receiving disk is secured to the wall or ceiling, we simply fasten and lock the detectors into place and the detector is engaged. No need to change the batteries next year.
We also advocate for the inclusion of new, fully charged and tagged fire extinguishers of varying sizes depending on locations within the home or office. Think kitchens, near exits, garages, mechanical rooms and near barbecue equipment too.
